Approval of Resolution to obtain necessary permits for the SE Stormwater Drainage Project, Broward County has requested an Agreement with the City to mitigate the County Owned Park land east of SE 5th Avenue. This land will be used to discharge the stormwater from the SE Section of the City during rain/storm events. The maintenance of mitigation areas is necessary to meet water quality standards for stormwater discharges.

 

 

Description of Action

Approve funding for the Maintenance of Mitigation Areas located east of SE 5th Avenue between SE 3rd Street and SE 7th Street for the SE Stormwater Drainage Project Phase II, under the terms and conditions therein and authorize the City Manager to execute same.
